- I began illustrating for the PGE monthly newsletter "Update" in 1994. Initially, the images were created in a woodcut style. When Enron took over in 1996, I had to scramble to come up with a new look. The result was the simple, tapered line style that you see here. I admit, this is pure corporate...not the kind of art you're going to hang on your walls. They serve their purpose well, and the style has kept me busy on a multitude of projects beyond PGE. Enron is toast, but the illustrations live on!
