Remember the Pacific Wonderland license plates? These Oregon plates from the '60s were in such demand over the years that the state recently re-issued them. Playing on the theme of "Pacific Wonderland", I'm in the process of creating a series of illustrations celebrating vintage automobile travel to destinations throughout Oregon. This is the first in the line-up.  Look closely, and you'll notice that this couple came a long way in their VW Type 3. More interesting old cars in beautiful settings will follow as the series develops.
